Give your home a standout first impression
Transform Front Door - Without the Cost of Replacement
Your front door sets the tone for your entire home. If it’s faded, tired, or simply no longer suits your style, professional front door spraying is a cost-effective way to completely transform your entrance without the expense of replacement.
At Trident Spray-Finish, I specialise in spraying front doors to a flawless, factory-quality finish that instantly boosts kerb appeal and adds long-lasting protection against the elements.
BEFORE
AFTER
A bespoke finish – not a quick coat of paint
Unlike brush or roller painting, spray finishing delivers a smooth, even finish with no brush marks, drips or texture. Your door is carefully prepared, masked, and professionally sprayed using premium coatings designed specifically for exterior durability.
Whether your door is uPVC, composite, timber or aluminium, I tailor the process to suit the material and condition of the surface.
The Professional Process
Deep Cleaning and Preparation
Surfaces are deep cleaned to remove dirt, chalking, and contaminants, then lightly abraded , ensuring strong adhesion for the coating system.
Full Masking and Protection
Surrounding brickwork, render, glass, seals, and interiors are fully masked and protected to keep the working area clean and controlled.
Adhesion (Dust) Coat Application
A light initial dust coat is applied. This first coat promotes bonding and allows subsequent layers to properly fuse together for long-term durability.
Build Coats for Full Coverage
Two additional medium coats are spray-applied to achieve solid colour, even coverage, and a smooth, factory-style finish. Each layer chemically bonds with the previous one to form a tough, uniform surface.
Drying and Curing
Coatings are typically touch dry to around 80 percent within approximately one hour, allowing doors to be carefully closed the same day. Full curing is normally achieved within around 16 hours, depending on weather conditions.
Final Inspection
All sprayed surfaces are checked to ensure a consistent, high-quality finish and sharp, clean edges throughout.
